Multi sectoral approach: A barrier to HIV communication.

Issue: HIV pandemic has affected all societies the world over including East African Countries. Uganda’s government’s used media as a tool to mobilize community participation. This contributed to multi-sectoral intervention. Such include NGOs, FBOs, CBOs, health service providers, Traditional healers and government among others. These have differing approaches on prevention, treatment care and management of HIV and yet use media to disseminate information.

Description: EAPI is basically a support group that operates at national levels in the countries of intervention and has its programs basically drawn from the experiences of the people living with HIV/AIDS. Of late it has initiated both adult and children’s ART clubs in five countries where it operates. EAPI also networks with many organizations in East and Central Africa from which some members’ access services in treatment care and management of HIV. Back in the support group experiences indicate that the various messages got from different actors have an influence on the options taken by the members in combating HIV/AIDS

Conclusion: Information given by the actors is geared towards promoting prevention and improving the quality of life of both the infected and affected individuals many do not offer practical realities and yet affect HIV communication and the very values that they aim to support and or promote.

I've been browsing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours.
It's pretty worth enough for me. In my view, if all site
owners and bloggers made good content as you did,
the internet will be a lot more useful than ever before.
